Meibomian Gland Probing/Decongestion
Meibomian gland probing is a relatively new technique which involves using a small wire probe to gently unblock any obstructions in the oil producing glands in your eyelid.
It is effective in relieving dry eye symptoms caused by meibomian gland dysfunction and also at relieving tenderness of the eyelid caused by increased pressure in the gland behind an obstruction.
We strongly recommend that this treatment is combined with IPL as research shows the combination of the two treatments is more effective than either individually and the need for retreatment is reduced.
We are pleased to be one of only a few locations in the country to offer this service.
Cost: £2000.00.
Combined with 3 or 4 IPL sessions as required
